It’s another sweltering day in Orlando, and as an HVAC technician for Mills Air, my job is to keep homes and businesses comfortable. Today’s schedule is packed with installations and repairs all across the city.
Morning Routine
- Arrive at the office and load up my van with the necessary tools and equipment
- Review the day’s AC installation and repair jobs
- Grab a strong coffee to fuel up for the day ahead
First Stop: College Park
The first job of the day is a new HVAC installation in a recently renovated home in the charming College Park neighborhood. The homeowners have chosen a top-of-the-line energy-efficient system, and it’s my job to ensure it’s installed correctly and running smoothly.
Mid-Day Maintenance in Winter Park
After a successful installation, it’s time to head over to Winter Park for a routine air conditioning repair. An office building’s AC unit has been acting up, and my job is to diagnose and fix the issue promptly, keeping the employees and clients comfortable.
Afternoon in Altamonte Springs
The afternoon takes me to a residential home in Altamonte Springs for a more complex AC repair. The homeowner has been experiencing inconsistent cooling, and after thoroughly inspecting the system, I identify the problem and get to work on replacing a faulty component.
Wrapping Up the Day
As the sun begins to set, I make my final stop in Casselberry to perform a routine maintenance check on a commercial HVAC system. After ensuring everything is running smoothly, I head back to the Mills Air office to restock supplies and prepare for another busy day tomorrow.
Working for Mills Air is challenging but rewarding. Keeping homes and businesses comfortable in the Florida heat is no easy task, but our team of dedicated technicians takes pride in providing top-notch service to our customers across Orlando and the surrounding areas.
